ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The "Principles in Healthcare Disaster Preparedness" conference is a focused scientific event organized by the Kuwait Medical Association (KMA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard, to strengthen the readiness of healthcare systems in the face of emergencies and disasters.

Through a full-day program featuring expert speakers from Kuwait and abroad, the conference will address critical themes such as hospital disaster integration, emergency medicine, field hospital operations, decontamination, trauma care in resource-limited settings, and staff training.

This event serves as a platform for healthcare professionals, administrators, and emergency responders to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and adopt best practices in disaster preparedness and response. With a multidisciplinary approach and evidence-informed sessions, the conference aims to build a more resilient and responsive healthcare system capable of facing future challenges.

To enhance the capacity of healthcare professionals and institutions in Kuwait to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters through a multidisciplinary and practical approach.
